My story is simple. I love whiskey, I love leather and I love always having access to my favorite whiskey. I also thought that I'm probably not the only one that feels this way.
And as much as I love my beer, it feels like whiskey is (almost) always the better option to have. It’s got a sense of importance and professionalism to it. So I had the brilliant idea of coming up with a way in which I could always have my whiskey with me to share with whoever I wanted. Because let’s face it, when you find a good whiskey you need to share it with others that have the same passion for it, or try to convince those that don’t.
That’s how this leather whiskey carrier was born. What is the bare minimum you need to enjoy whiskey? A bottle of whiskey and a glass. Make that 4 glasses if you want to start sharing. So I devised a plan to incorporate all that I love into a single product - the leather whiskey carrier.
That’s where I started, but it’s definitely not where Barrel and Hides are going to stop. Keep a close eye on Barrel and Hides, because there’s more coming.
CRAFTED IN THE USA
We can manufacture our whiskey carrier anywhere in the world and we can also probably do it cheaper as well, but that's not what we are about.
Our leather is sourced in the USA and our carrier is manufactured in the USA as well. You just can't find the quality and craftmanship anywhere else. It's a Made in USA product to be proud of.
I personally believe the best whiskeys are made in the US (my opinion). So why won't we manufacture our whiskey carrier in the same country as the best whiskeys? It just makes sense.
